Baby, a peacock offspring from two peacocks rescued by Nancy

 

Rescue Story

Nancy came across two unwanted peacocks while living in Los Angeles many years ago. First a boy from the East Coast and later a girl from the Ventura area. About 4 years ago, her male and female started making the mating sounds in the spring and it brought them a wild peacock. Baby was the only one to survive. Over the years they enjoyed the vast backyard freely roaming with all types of animals. One day the mommy peacock got hit crossing Sunset Boulevard and the baby just stopped coming to her property.
